About Me

I work at the intersection of health data and semantic web, with a focus on making biological and biomedical data discoverable, interoperable, reusable, and aligned with FAIR principles. As a Knowledge Engineer, I design and implement the schemas, ontologies, and standards that transform clinical datasets into machine-readable, discoverable resources.

I enjoy wearing different hats and working in cross disciplinary environments. I am a strong advocate for open-source development, both in the sense of leveraging existing off-the-shelf tools and standards to build on solid foundations, and in contributing back to the open-source community by sharing the frameworks, tooling, and knowledge we develop. I place particular importance on interfacing with international initiatives, identifying points of synergy, and ensuring that the infrastructure we build is interoperable with and informed by the broader global landscape.
